Nathalie Davies The world of Moon Dog

Within my work I have created a dystopian world spread over four panels. Each panel features a main ‘god-like’ character surrounded by an alien environment. These characters signify that each individual is the centre of their own reality, prompting a grounding response in the viewer. Mindfulness is the state of being conscious by focusing awareness on the present moment while calmly acknowledging one’s emotions and sensations. The foreign world created in each panel challenges one to notice and appreciate things generally unnoticed in everyday life, as well as our connections with the world around us.
