Brooke Carden CityFail
Since the terror attacks of 9/11, the peoples of the world have begun to look at others as stereotypes of their culture, their religion, or both. Nations feel threatened by so-called ‘terrorism’. We find ourselves observing others differently, and governments are restricting freedoms as they increase security and surveillance. But does this make us feel safer – or violated? And where do we draw the line? My work, CityFail, aims to force the viewer to answer such questions and bring to light the consequent issues.
